Animal lover Aleks Kaminska feels that an NPS should run alongside the NHS.

She says many people don’t realise the long-term costs that having an animal can incur.

She says veterinary surgeries are taking advantage of this, and should all be charging the same for treatments.  

Aleks has launched a petition calling on the Government to regulate vets fees, which she feels vary widely depending on the practice.
