White Zombie drummer Ivan De Prume

Ivan De Prume the drummer for White Zombie joined big WZ fans Mark and Hannah for a very metal 4th of July show.

Ivan talked about growing up in Brooklyn (in the lineage of great musicians) and falling in love with the rap and disco sounds around him which inspired his groovy playing style. He went through the history of White Zombie including meeting Sean Yseult and Rob Zombie for the first time, the groups "noise rock" phase which gained them fans like Kurt Cobain, Sonic Youth and Iggy Pop, to their breakthrough album La Sexorcisto and touring with Pantera. He gives an honest answer as to why he left the band as well as his collaborations since with Jack Off Jill, Society 1, Scum of the Earth, KMFDM, L7, Megadeth and his new hard rock band Big News.
