Public confusion surrounding stem cells

A short audioboo about the difference between experimental protocol and validated treatments, how the valid progress in the clinic and in the laboratory is being sullied by hyperbole and misinformation overestimating the clinical use of stem cells in the clinic right now. The Irish Stem Cell Foundation supports all forms of stem cell research, but does not support those who make medically unsubstantiated claims to the public, and in so doing offer false hope to those patients and caregivers currently seeking treatment.
