Episode #19 - They Cut My Verse

Aug 02, 2017, 01:25 PM

Live from New York, it's... Sunday afternoon, TBH. For our first ever live-in-person recording, Natalie and Brittany are joined by old friends Mara, of Atlantic Records and the Brooklyn Theatre Club; and Leo, of yelling through the door at home during Natalie's podcasting sessions. Vaguely themed around New York itself, this episode touches on the highs and lows of summer in the city: food and tipping, industrial history, subway urban legends... and, naturally, Broadway. Mara has some unique anecdotes to share about going backstage at Hamilton, as well as her own theatre company antics; Natalie is grieving over missing the greatest birthday party in the history of time; and Brittany has a really unfortunate new crush.
