Here at UTAS we’re delighted to be releasing our second special episode, looking at the subject of Violence Against Women and Girls within football.

On the week of release we are half way through the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, starting on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and running until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

In such an important moment for the movement, this episode looks introspectively at what we do at Cambridge United, as fans, players and management, and more importantly what we can all do more of to make small steps in changing society for the better. This is a subject that has had a distinct lack of discussion within such a male-dominated space as football, and we want to try play a role in kickstarting this vital conversation.
