Tech in 2024: Wearable Devices Enter a New Era

This week we’re bringing you tech predictions for 2024. It’s been nearly 10 years since the Apple Watch came out, and the device can now track not just your heart rate and step count, but also your skin temperature for fertility and menstrual cycle predictions. Now, WSJ personal tech columnist Nicole Nguyen says the Apple Watch, and other wearables like Fitbit, might be entering a new era by tracking one metric that many people have been waiting for: blood pressure.
