Avast and parlay! Still the only adaptation of a theme-park ride to totally work, the first PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN film was an unlikely megahit that rose from "should we just have this be a direct to video thing" to "should we make ten more movies because we're very rich now." But how's it looking with 20 years on the long side of the periscope? Or telescope? Periscopes are submarine things, aren't they? Who cares! This movie has a skeleton monkey!
