Bosnian dawn

"For two months in 2023, I lived in Varanasi, India. Each morning I would be awakened by the sound of chanting and dogs barking - not all that different from the field recording I used in this work. As with many of my compositional ambient pieces, I use a large chord with what might be called "fuzzy" canons to envelop the Bosnian morning, the way a big, warm blanket covers a child who wants to spend a bit more time in bed."
