A Spotlight on the Barbican centre's audio described experience during gallery tour - Unravel and preview of forthcoming theatre in June and July 2024

In this edition I showcase the Fabulous Barbican centre and give a glimpse of their access provision during the audio tour of the recent gallery exhibition – The Power and Politics of Textile in art that took part on April 17th 2024, we hear from blind Curator and describer Lisa Squirrel who talks about her experience making the content accessible for those visually impaired and I preview some of the forthcoming theatre audio described performances coming up including The Perfect show for Rachel on Saturday the 1st of June at 2pm with a touch tour at 12.30pm and on Thursday the 6th of June at 7pm with a touch tour at 5.30pm and Kiss me Kate on Weds the 24th of July at 730pm and Sat the 17th of August at 2.30pm with touch tour times to be confirmed
