Environmental advocates say more national monuments are a good idea
Gov. Gary Herbert sent a letter to President Obama, asking him to hold off on designating an areas as a national monument without going through the Public Lands Initiative process first.But, officials with The Sierra Club, Utah Chapter, say more designations would be good for Utah in the long run.
