Colorful Bands
Have you ever dreamt about flowing rainbows? Wondering what lies at the end of the bow Could it be the colorful bands bending across the sky? Hold the feelings of special friends trying not to pry
Rather, awaiting for a channel to open to share a special gift How often in our dreams, do we meander in this rift? Across a vastness so grand, it astounds so breathlessly Bringing elements surreal beyond an endless sea
Speaking what is real lightens the load giving us our zeal Pushing to know each other better trying not to conceal We confess our deepest thoughts binding our inner souls A lasting friendship envelops which comes to warm the cold
To those who partake in these words I’ve chimed Who relate to all the lines I’ve rhymed Remember whenever you see a rainbow’s bend It well could be a far away friend, waiting at the other end
