Self-Doubt

Beneath the glitter of the moon, rides a lonely road For in the somber shadows there’s a coldness to unload Leading to unknown fears hiding around the bend A feeling of distraught one can hear within the wind

Trying hard to avert a tangent that has no mirth It whirls beyond the inlet not caring who it hurts Not having an ounce of dignity no mercy in its code It creeps within our inner selves ready to explode

At times odd occurrences will shape our well being Wondering is this reality really worth keeping Strange how our mentality plays the game of life A never ending battle filled with heated strife

One learns upon this traveled road that life contains no void The darken curbs once feared no longer will we avoid So in the lanes we traverse remember to never pout Standing tall allows our dignity to control our self-doubt
