Boo #2: "The Greatest Stories NEVER Told..."

When I'm starting to write a new story (or indeed a whole new book), part of the adventure is picking a brand new empty notebook to scribble all my ideas in and to attempt to keep them all organised... For the new "Gnome Gnovel" I've picked one I can get plenty of BACKSTORY into... it's the part of the tale that you'll never read as an audience but it's important to begin crafting my overall story from this starting point so I know who my main characters are, where they've been and how they got to the place they're in as the book proper begins on its first page...
