An audioBoom Channel was designed in partnership with broadcast media.

What is an audioBoom Channel?

audioBoom Channels give broadcasters, programme podcasters and other quality audio producers a boosted presence on our site with enhanced utility. This includes:

Limitless time on each uploaded or recorded clip

Multiple audioBoom Account contributors to your channel

If you're a radio station, newspaper or large company, you can add named 'reporters' to your channel. Contributors to the channel retain their account name on the clip and all their clips collate in one place, your channel, on the website.

Moderated Contributions From Listeners

On setting up your channel you can choose to allow anyone to contribute via audioBoom to your channel. There is a record bar on your channel for this purpose. Anyone can click on the record bar and upload their clip. This then goes to a private moderation panel for you listen to, download and publish to your channel (or delete where appropriate)

We take original recordings (AIFF from PC/MAC browser recordings, FLAC (from iPhone & Android) and encode to mp3 for general playback. Channel users are able to simply download these files in order to edit them for broadcast. Original FLAC files for archiving purposes are available on request.
