Why Birmingham girl Alia Ahmed Jama died

Jane Held, the Chair of Birmingham Safeguarding Children Board, explains to Free Radio's Dan Dawson the reasons behind the death of three year old Alia Ahmed Jama. She was killed by her own mother in Erdington in February 2010, and then had her body burned with acid. A Serious Case Review found that chances were missed to have her mother assessed for mental health problems.
