Children's Rights Referendum

Voters in Ireland will on November 10 vote on proposed constitutional change to protect children's right. The referendum on the rights of children also sets out the responsibilities of the Irish state in maintaining those rights Groups in favour of the amendment say they're disappointed at the lack of debate of the issues involved, but some observers have said a poll on the rights of children is a bit like asking, "Are you in favour of motherhood and apple pie?"
