We want to bring you back to a story we first covered back in January 2011. The story of the carer Patricia Young. In one of the most upsetting cases of elderly abuse, the family of Ivy McCloskey who suffered from dementia and had been left paralysed and unable to speak, secretly filmed Young eating their mother's food. You really will need to see it to believe it. Yesterday, 56 year old Patricia Young from Mandeville Avenue in Lisburn was found guilty of two counts of ill treatment or neglect of a patient under the mental health act.
But this is the second trial - Last year the first case was withdrawn by the PPS despite Young's guilty plea due to a technicality. Our reporter Lisa McAlister speaks to Ivy's family.
