Felixstowe flood survivor talks 60 years on from 1953

It’s sixty years since east Anglia suffered its worst peace-time disaster. A massive flood hit many parts of Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex, killing 307 people. Derek Swann, from Trimley, was 14 and living in Felixstowe at the time where 41 people died.

He told Town 102’s Nina White his story.
