Phyllis is a volunteer mentor at Amber Initiatives in Plymouth

BBC Radio Devon - Phyllis was born in Germany and is half British and half Turkish. She is a mentor to all the volunteers who come from overseas to help migrant families in Devon and Cornwall. She thrives working with people of all backgrounds and cultures. She says her work is truly diverse.
