The Media Show began its eight week on Saturday 6th of April on RTE Radio 1. The series is presented by Brenda Power and produced by Helen Shaw.

Brenda Power in the first of this seasons The Media Show series is looking at how printed newspapers are being replaced by online news and we find out why Irish newspapers may soon move to a paywall on their online editions. Interviews include Matt Dempsey Chairman of the National Newspapers of Ireland, Aileen OToole founder of the Sunday Business Post and Emily Bell of Columbia University.
