As part of a Source Podcast, Louis Chadwick spoke with Benjamin Francis Leftwich, who captures even the hardiest soul with his smooth, husky vocals. First time Louis became aware of Ben, it was at London Borderline in 2011, where he performed acoustically and sometimes even unplugged!

One year later, Louis saw Benjamin perform once again but this time with the full backing of a band, the sound was fuller and more immersive, but retained the gentle quality that caught his eye previously. They chatted on the phone, and now, one year on from that conversation, here's Louis catching up with Ben at a Manchester gig of supreme scale compared to that first encounter in London.
