According to the British Retail Consortium, by the beginning of 2011 the internet accounted for nearly 10% of all retail sales.

Nowadays, we can buy almost anything online with the click of the button and in the privacy of our own homes.

But Richard Dodd says we shouldn’t see the internet as the enemy of the high street.
