Initial thoughts on thoughts on the brand new Whole Food Market in Richmond

It isn't every day that a new chain of supermarkets, hitherto largely unknown in the Uk, opens the doors of a new branch to the public.. Here in Richmond we've been watching the construction of this place for a couple of years, and it is good to finally make it inside. The Whole Food Market is something of a cross between an old fashioned indoor market and the food hall of an upmarket London department store. The staff really seen to know their stuff, tasters and freebies abound, the choice is manageable but of the best quality, and presentation and customer service are paramount. On the flip side however, the site is rather constrained, making for a rather busy, stressful environment, and some of the pricing is at the upper end of the spectrum. All in.
