A family has hit out after their 76-year-old father was prepped twice for a hip operation only for it to be cancelled on both occasions. Bertie Greenlee, who has dementia, fell in his Care home and shattered his hip. He had to wait twelve hours for a bed in the royal's A and E. It then took eleven days to get the operation he needed.
