Ghana defends measure on economy

Ghana's minister of finance has come out to defend the measures taken to shore up the currency. The cedi - like the currencies of some other African countries - has been under pressure recently, due to decisions made by the US Fedral Reserve about the dollar. This week the central bank imposed exchange controls and raised interest rates to halt the steep decline in the cedi's value. Focus on Africa's Akwasi Sarpong spoke to Ghana's Minister of Finance Seth Tekper.
