Liverpool Mayor considers selling-off WW2 blitz memorial

Liverpool's iconic ‘bombed out church’ could be sold by the council to developers. The landmark St Lukes church, at the bottom of Leece Street, could be handed over for as little as £1 in order to save the council the cost of looking after it.
