The #OnThisDay take on the anniversary of the opening of Richard O'Brien's 'The Rocky Horror Show' upstairs at the Royal Court Theatre on this day in 1973. It was a stage musical tribute to the sci-fi and horror B movie genre and told the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist.
