She had been struggling in her own life with financial problems, and, her husband, who she had been with for 33 years, had recently left her and their disabled son. She had tried to take her own life numerous times. Then, in August last year, she went as usual to her job at a school near Atlanta. But that day, a young man called Michael Hill walked into the school reception office, brandished a loaded AK47 and said, 'This is not a joke! This is real! We are all going to die today'.
