UA Students On Forefront Of New Water Cleansing Tech, Hope To Win EPA Grant

A group of University of Alabama students were selected to compete in a national EPA contest to find better methods of cleaning water with LED light technology. The current mercury lamp based cleaning process is seen as being too dangerous and the hope of the team is to create a innovative approach to removing impurities. Mark Elliott, a UA engineering professor joined our program to talk about the group's progress.
