TUV blast Sinn Fein over call to flog off council memorabilia #BBCNolan

A row has erupted over a proposal to sell off the chains of office when the new supercouncils are formed. A Ballymena councillor says unneeded regalia could be flogged to raise cash when they merge with Carrick and Larne to form Mid and East Antrim Council. But the TUV are furious at the idea and accused Sinn Fein of trying to take away a vital part of local history.
