Did the government really meet with First Nations leaders about the Highway of Tears?

The B.C. Liberals say that in June and July of 2014, they met with 80 communities and a dozen First Nations leaders for consultations about the so-called Highway of Tears, between Prince George and Prince Rupert. But North Coast NDP MLA Jennifer Rice says she can find no records of those meetings taking place.
