Singapore is world's most expensive city

For the second year running, Singapore has topped a poll by the Economist Intelligence Unit as the priciest city on Earth.

The study is sold to international companies, to help them decide how much to pay employees who relocate to different places.

So is Singapore really the most expensive in the world - or do ex-pats simply not know where the bargains are?
