Sarah Brightman on the gruelling training regime for space trip

Sarah Brightman’s set to become the eighth space tourist in history – and the first professional singer to perform from outer space.

On the 1st of September she’ll set off in the Soyuz Rocket to the International Space Station where she’ll orbit earth for 10 days.

Towards the end of her trip she will stage a performance – which she hopes will connect up with other singers on Earth.

She’s currently completely 9 months of intense training at Star City near Moscow and explained what that involves.
