Last week, we began gearing up for Friedland’s annual Document Destruction Day (aka DDD), which is the one day out of the year we confidentially shred paper for the public for free. The event is always the Saturday after Tax Day (this year being April 18th, which is this Saturday!) from 8am - 2pm, everyone is welcome — individuals, companies, organizations — and there’s no limit to the amount of paper documents you can bring in.

So, what exactly merits confidential shredding?
