Time to weigh kids at school? #BBCNolan

Next up, Would you be happy for your child to be weighed more often at primary school -- in order to keep closer tabs on their expanding waistline? It's an idea that's been floated by Dr Sarah Wollaston MP, who chairs the House of Commons health select committee. She has said that it's "not unreasonable" to expect pupils to be weighed a number of times throughout primary education -- rather than just at the beginning and the end... She adds that schools should write "sensitive" letters to parents if their children were overweight.

This comes after there were calls last week by health campaigners ukactive who were calling for fitness tests to be introduced to schools...

Nolan spoke to journalist Niamh Horan and size acceptance campaigner Kathryn Szrodecki.
