The DUP have confirmed to the Nolan Show that they WILL be using a Petition of Concern to block a censure motion against Sammy Wilson. The DUP MLA had called TUV leader Jim Allister a "thug" during a social development committee hearing into evidence from Stephen Brimstone. Sammy Wilson was found guilty of breaking Stormont's code of conduct by the assembly's commissioner for standards and privileges Douglas Bain. We asked the DUP to come on, they have said no, but they did confirm that a report in the Irish News that they are to use a petition of concern to block a motion to censure Sammy Wilson.
