Councillors heading to USA to promote a Co. Antrim path

A row is brewing over a planned trip by Mid & East Antrim Borough Council to America, to promote THE GOBBINS! 5 councillors and 1 council staff member are being flown at the ratepayers expense to staff a promotional stand.

The Gobbins is a north coast cliffside-walkway, which has recently had work done to regenerate the tourist attraction.

But is this 4 day trip to Milwaukee Irish Festival in August a step too far when money is already tight?
