Stage 7 | Cavendish wins his 26th stage after two-year wait

July 10 | In the latest episode of the Telegraph Cycling Podcast, Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie and Daniel Friebe are joined by French journalist François Thomazeau to discuss the seventh stage of the Tour de France.

It was won by Mark Cavendish, who ended his two-year wait for a stage victory by outsprinting his rivals in Fougères. The team read to Cavendish’s victory and what it may mean for his contract negotiations with his team Etixx-Quick Step.

The team also award the latest Pédaleur de Charme award and look ahead to Sunday’s team time trial. We hear from Orica-GreenEdge sports director Matt White and rider Luke Durbridge as they have been reduced to six men ahead of the stage about the implications of riding with a weakened line-up.
