Bus lane bust-ups. Yet more controversy over push to get us out of our cars.

More bus lane controversy for Belfast. Plans for the upper Newtownards road are on the front page of the Belfast Telegraph today. It will eventually see its four lanes reduced to two for motorists. Some local traders say they were consulted last year about the change but have no idea when the new bus lanes will open.

It's all part of the new Rapid Transit scheme from the department of the Development. It's objective is to provide fast and reliable services connecting East and West Belfast, the Titanic Quarter and the city centre.
