Controversy rages over a loyalist parade. SDLP claims assurances were broken.

The PSNI have told the Nolan show they are reviewing footage and any potential breaches of a Parades commission determination after a controversial loyalist parade in south Belfast on Friday night.

It took place on the Ormeau road and there are claims there was paramilitary regalia on display. There was controversy last year when an £11,000 memorial funded by the Housing Executive was used to honour UDA members including Bratty and Elder.

The UPRG gave assurances on this show last week that there would be no paramilitary displays. The SDLP say those assurances were not met.
