Northwest Community College is setting up work camp-style housing for students to prepare them for the reality of working in northern B.C.'s resource industry.

And what is that reality? We delved into our archives to hear stories of camp cough, leftover beer cans, pool tables, and loneliness from workers in Kitimat, Fort McMurray, Fort Nelson, and beyond.
