Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn says he wouldn’t hit the nuclear button. Should we get rid of Trident or is that a foolish move?

During an interview on Radio 4's Today programme this morning, Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn, was asked whether he would ever press the nuclear button as PM. His answer was "no". Speaking to presenter, Sarah Montague, he said he didn't think Britain should be renewing the Trident nuclear defence system and that the country 'should not be spending £100bn on Trident' which he said many in the military see as 'obsolete'.
