Prince Rupert RCMP investigate Lelu Island Occupiers

Prince Rupert RCMP says it is investigating Lelu Island occupiers after an alleged boat ramming. The occupiers are patrolling the waters around the island to stall research work by LNG proponent, Petronas. RCMP Sergeant Dave Uppal says the latest incident under investigation happened January 28th. Tsimshian Hereditary Chief Donald Wesley is the leader of the Occupation Camp on Lelu. He denies any violent conduct on the water.
