For months now, Ryan Matheson has been facing a backlash. In November, he announced that former Conservative cabinet minister James Moore had been chosen as the next chancellor of the University of Northern British Columbia. Matheson is chair of the board of governors which is responsible for the decision, and he has been facing protests, a petition, and calls for his resignation from people upset by the choice.
