A chat AND rap with Abandoman

May 03, 2016, 06:38 PM

Irish freestyle rapper [I know, right?!] Rob Broderick from the multi award winning comedy improv act Abandoman joins us for a chat and a freestyle rap challenge ahead of their Brighton Fringe shows on 6th and 7th May 2016.

They've supported Ed Sheeran on tour, performed at Glastonbury, Latitude, Bestival and Leeds & Reading Festivals, won Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, and the Adelaide Fringe Festival “Best Comedy – Newcomer” award and have appeared on "de box" on the likes of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Al Porter Show (RTE), The Ray D’Arcy Show (RTE), BBC3′s Live at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, BBC2′s The Stephen K Amos Show, and on Sky Arts as part of their Latitude coverage.

We chat about how Abandon started off, their strong connection with Brighton and we do a freestyle rap challenge with Rob with a Radio Reverb flavour!

What's the Craic is a weekly Irish radio show that broadcasts on Brighton's Radio Reverb on 97.2FM, DAB and online at radioreverb.com.
