Now should a man always pay for dinner when on a date? Two contestants on the channel 4 TV show First Dates have left viewers divided - after the man asked the woman to pay half towards her meal. The show partnered Brian with Mary for a date and things seemed to be going well between them until the waitress arrived with the bill and asked if they were doing half and half to which he replied yes. Mary later admitted that she was fuming that he didn't pay for the meal.
