Indigenous women and girls are significantly overrepresented in the sex trade. Dustin Louie is an Indigenous man who grew up in Burns Lake and Prince George. He is now a professor at the University of Calgary. His research focuses on the conditions that lead Indigenous women into sex work and sexual exploitation. He spoke with us about how education can change these circumstances.
