The 'Uncanny Valley' of "TinTin"

I recently saw two films that heavily employ the use of computer graphics technology. "Hugo" combines live actors with computer graphic surroundings. "The Adventures of TinTin" features characters that move and express themselves through the use of motion capture technology. These almost-humans cause can uneasiness in the viewer that's sometimes referred to as the "uncanny valley."
