#bbcnolan callers traffic chaos in Belfast as traffic lights fail across the city

Many frustrated motorist contacting the Nolan show this morning about bumper to bumper traffic DRD SAY: Due to a BT Exchange Fault the Traffic Control Centre has lost the ability to coordinate and manage 29 sets of traffic lights in Belfast city centre area. We understand that BT is currently working to repair the fault. Traffic lights are still working but they cannot be coordinated which is leading to extensive traffic congestion.
