Local Historian, Tom Toomey, talks briefly about the events that led to the Riots that occurred in Limerick in response to an Anti-Home Rule meeting being held by Munster Unionists in the Theatre Royal on the afternoon of October 10th 1912 and about the historical significance of this event.

Tom is the author of the book "War Of Independence In Limerick 1912-1921".
